With a huge increasing forward workload, you'll have the flexibility to showcase your past experience, whilst managing a number of projects in and around the wider Otago region. You'll report to a manager who has cut his teeth in the industry. A medium sized team with a large backing and some impressive projects in the pipeline. This role will be Queenstown based, yet will complete projects all through Central Otago. The right candidate would be comfortable leading pricing, planning, and tendering across a diverse range of projects, while managing resources within budget and ensuring targets are achieved safely. Take a hands on approach to identifying and resolving issues in the field, oversee resource allocation, and carry out ongoing risk and opportunity analysis. Build and lead efficient, capable teams, and keep projects on track through the use of appropriate systems and technology. There is potential for the right candidate who has experience in the construction management space who has an interest in a civil cadetship to jump in and build a career in this space.
