Involved from early planning through to project delivery Quantum is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Civil Quantity Surveyor to join our team. We operate across Southland and Queenstown, delivering a wide range of projects including full subdivision developments, bulk earthworks, civil infrastructure, civil contracting works, drainage and services, and landscaping. This role offers real variety and the opportunity to be involved from early planning through to project delivery, working closely alongside management. About the Role You’ll play a key role in the commercial and delivery side of our projects, working alongside the manager, consultants, contractors, and councils to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and on budget. Key Responsibilities • Pricing and estimating civil works including subdivisions, bulk earthworks, drainage, and services • Managing project costs and budgets from start to completion • Liaising with consultants, engineers, civil contractors, and local councils • Supporting subdivision delivery and compliance requirements • Preparing and reviewing contracts, variations, and progress claims • Procurement and subcontractor management • Assisting with planning and forecasting across multiple projects What We’re Looking For • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil works • Strong understanding of subdivision development, bulk earthworks, drainage, and services • Experience dealing with consultants, civil contractors, and council processes • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities • Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail • Good communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused mindset What We Offer • A varied workload across Queenstown and Southland projects • Opportunity to be involved in end-to-end project delivery • Supportive team environment within a growing business • Competitive salary package based on experience If you’re looking for a role with diverse projects and real involvement on the ground, we’d like to hear from you.
