Grada Recruitment is seeking an experienced Intermediate Civil Engineer to join a well-established and highly respected team in Queenstown. This is a fantastic opportunity to take the lead on key land development projects and make your mark on the region's landscape.
The Role
You will be a key figure on-site, providing technical expertise and leadership on a range of subdivision projects, with a focus on bulk earthworks and drainage. You will guide a skilled, self-performing team, oversee quality control, and manage the day-to-day physical and financial performance of your projects. This role offers the chance to be mentored by a senior leadership team, providing a clear pathway for your career development toward project management.

The Ideal Candidate
* A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
* 3+ years of experience in the NZ civil contracting sector, ideally on subdivision projects
* Strong practical knowledge of bulk earthworks, drainage, and associated civil works
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate site teams
* A proactive attitude with a strong commitment to quality and safety standards
