We now employ around 130 people based out of locations in Auckland, Taupo, and New Plymouth, and operate nationwide.\r\n\r\nThe job we have on offer; \r\n\r\nWe are looking to appoint an experienced Project /Construction Manager to join our rapidly growing New Plymouth based Prefabricated Plant Room team. The scopes of work to be managed are Room Electrical, Civil/Structural portions of the Plant room Manufacturing process and Installation and Commissioning oversight.\r\n\r\nTo be considered for this role you would need: \r\n\r\n - proven experience in managing multidisciplined construction projects in highly regulated environments,\r\n\r\n - Electrical Construction Experience \r\n\r\n - excellent attention to detail, \r\n\r\n - a high level of literacy and numeracy, \r\n\r\n - familiarity with the MS Office suite of software and MS Project, \r\n\r\n - to be an effective communicator with both internal and external stakeholders, \r\n\r\n - to be able to help create and work to production schedules, \r\n\r\n - to promote Entec’s Health, Safety and Quality culture, and \r\n\r\n - to be willing to work as part of a team. \r\n\r\nRemuneration will be by way of competitive salary, dependent on trade qualifications, relevant experience, and any other skills you can bring to the business. Mo tenei turanga | About the opportunity We are looking for a dynamic Electrical Engineering Project Manager to join our Whareroa team! If you are passionate about driving engineering excellence and delivering impactful projects, we want to hear from you! This role covers our electrical engineering projects, leading initiatives that will significantly improve the sustainability, safety, quality, and reliability of assets within our operations. Your projects will be highly visible to senior leaders and make a real difference to the future performance and success of Fonterra. You’ll be working alongside an established team of Engineering Project Managers and be responsible for a portfolio of mid-sized projects, typically ranging from $100k to $15M. You’ll manage projects through all stages of project delivery—from conception, scoping, concept design through to full detailed design, contracting, implementation, commissioning and handover, including post-completion support. Reporting to the LNI Regional Portfolio Manager, this role is based at our Whareroa site and services projects across all our sites across the Lower North Island (Whareroa, Collingwood St, Kapuni, Pahiatua, Longburn, and MFU). About you | Moe koe We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-quality engineering environment and can turn ambiguity into well-defined scopes of work. You’ll bring a strong project management background and the ability to deliver projects end-to-end. To be successful in this role you’ll have knowledge across a range of consumer food or milk processes, familiarity with project management tools and techniques, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You’ll also demonstrate excellent prioritisation and decision-making skills, reliability, and the ability to identify and provide solutions to keep jobs moving forward. Key Skills & Attributes: - A degree in Dairy Process, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering. - Preferably 10+ years of project management experience, successfully delivering industrial projects with budgets exceeding $1M per project. - Ability to resource, lead, and manage several projects simultaneously. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to fully scope and cost projects. - Experience leading consultants and contractors through design, installation, commissioning, and handover activities. What you will be doing:   The Senior Risk Specialist is responsible for providing subject matter expertise and guidance on all aspects of risk management for projects across the Infrastructure Portfolio.
