Opportunity to keep things moving and sorted behind the scenes Logistics Solutions (NZ) Ltd is a privately owned company that specialises in cartage of stock feeds and bulk raw materials from vessels, stores, and feed mills to stores and farms throughout New Zealand. We’re looking for a reliable, organised, and practical person to join our Tauriko team in a Nightshift Dispatch Supervisor role supporting our auger and bulk fleet operations. This is a hands-on transport role where no two nights are the same — coordinating drivers, managing load plans, solving problems on the fly, and helping ensure deliveries happen safely and on time. This role would suit someone with transport industry experience who can stay calm under pressure, think ahead, and communicate clearly with drivers, customers, and the operations team. What you’ll be doing: * Coordinating nightshift dispatch operations * Planning and adjusting loads as required * Communicating with drivers and customers throughout the shift * Monitoring fleet movements and driver hours * Assisting with breakdowns and on-farm issues * Data entry and updating transport systems (M2X and Mytransport) * Supporting post-delivery administration and compliance * Helping maintain smooth workflow across the operation What we’re looking for: * Previous transport, logistics, or despatch experience preferred * A current Class 5 licence * Strong organisation and communication skills * Good computer skills and ability to learn transport systems * Ability to make decisions and prioritise under pressure * Practical problem-solving mindset * Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic * Understanding of driver hours and transport compliance advantageous What we offer: * Full-time permanent role with a competitive salary * Varied and fast-paced work environment * Supportive team culture * Opportunity to grow within a well-established transport operation This is an important role within the business and suits someone who enjoys being the person who keeps things moving and sorted behind the scenes, so if that sounds like you, apply now by sending a copy of your CV with a minimum of two recent references/referees to: kale@logisticssolutions.co.nz.
