The Role
This role is responsible for managing purchasing processes, maintaining accurate product costing data, and providing visibility over manufacturing costs.
You will play a key part in ensuring materials are available when needed, inventory is controlled, and product and job costing reflects the true cost of production.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day purchasing of production materials, supplies, and spare parts
• Maintain supplier relationships and monitor delivery performance
• Oversee stock levels and support inventory accuracy using Syspro and Kanban systems
• Maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and standard product costs
• Review job cost variances and provide insight into margin performance
• Support continuous improvement of purchasing and costing processes

Requirements
• Experience in purchasing, inventory control, or cost accounting within a manufacturing environment
• Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (Syspro experience highly regarded)
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret cost data and identify variances
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Operations and suppliers
