Strengthen procurement capability across the organisation * Join VTNZ and help shape procurement across a nationwide network * Newly created role, Wellington based * Medical insurance, free WoFs and other employee benefits VTNZ are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to support end-to-end procurement activity across our business operations, and drive best-practice processes across the organisation. This role is based at our Support Office in Wellington and works closely with teams across the business. About the Role: * Manage end-to-end procurement processes including RFIs, RFPs, market testing and tender evaluations * Ensure procurement activity complies with VTNZ policies and governance requirements * Support the timely delivery of procurement initiatives across multiple projects * Provide procurement support for property matters, including fit-outs and site developments * Partner with stakeholders to define requirements and improve procurement capability * Act as the primary procurement contact for assigned projects and supplier engagements, and assist with supplier management, performance monitoring, and issue resolution What We're Looking For: * 3-5+ years' demonstrated experience in a procurement or sourcing role * Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end procurement cycles (tender processes, RFQ, RFP, commercial negotiations), cost analysis, budgeting and spend optimisation * Solid understanding of procurement principles, governance, risk management and NZ procurement regulations * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills * Experience and proficiency with MS suite of products * Experience in driving procurement policy improvements and standardising procurement processes across regions is highly advantageous Why join VTNZ?
