We are looking for an experienced Tradesman Drainlayer to join our Wellington team as we continue expanding throughout the lower North Island. **About the Role** This is a hands-on role for someone who can confidently work independently, problem solve on site, and represent the company professionally. You’ll be involved in a mix of drainlaying, maintenance, reactive callouts, diagnostics, repairs, and new installations. We need someone reliable, efficient, and motivated who takes pride in clean workmanship and delivering a high standard of service. **What You’ll Be Doing** - Residential and commercial drainlaying - Drain repairs, renewals, and installations - Drain unblocking and fault finding - CCTV drain inspections and diagnostics - Stormwater and wastewater works - Excavation and trench work - Renovation and small project work - Reactive maintenance and emergency callouts - Working alongside plumbing and civil crews when required - Completing job notes, photos, and documentation accurately - Maintaining company vehicle, tools, and equipment - Providing professional communication with clients and tenants **What We’re Looking For** - NZ Registered or Certified Drainlayer preferred - Current NZ driver licence - WTR endorsements an advantage - Ability to work independently and manage jobs efficiently - Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills - Good communication and customer service - Reliable, punctual, and well presented - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Experience with maintenance and reactive drainage work preferred
