This role is hands-on, physically demanding and ideal for someone with strong technical skills and a solid understanding of drainage work. What you'll be doing: * Installing and repairing stormwater and wastewater drainage systems * Laying pipes to correct grade, alignment and specification * Excavating and backfilling trenches safely * Reading and interpreting plans, drawings and levels * Operating hand tools and small machinery * Working alongside site supervisors to meet deadlines and quality standards What you'll need: * Proven drain laying experience (2+ years preferred) * Understanding of NZ drainage standards and best practice * Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions * Physically fit, reliable, and safety-focused * Reliable transport to get to site * Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and complete site inductions Bonus if you have: * WTR endorsements or a Class 2 licence * Experience with trench shoring, laser levelling or civil construction machinery * Civil construction industry background Apply now to secure your place for January 2026 - limited positions available!
