About the Role:
As a Certifying Drainlayer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing drainage systems on residential and commercial projects across the Bay of Plenty. You will work with a team of professionals to ensure all projects meet industry standards and are completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, maintain, and repair drainage systems, including pipes, gutters, and sewer lines.
* Ensure all drainage systems are compliant with local regulations and building codes.
* Work collaboratively with the project team to complete projects on time and to a high standard.
* Identify and resolve issues related to drainage systems.
* Maintain a clean and safe worksite, adhering to health and safety standards.
* Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure smooth operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
* NZ Qualified Drainlayer.
* Current NZ Driver's License (Class 2 preferred but not essential).
* Experience in residential and commercial drainage systems.
* Strong knowledge of drainage codes and regulations.
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
* A strong commitment to health and safety.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
