Work across essential industries We’re expanding our pool of Heavy Machine Operators for on-call and short-term assignments across a range of essential industries. If you’re an experienced operator looking for flexible work — with the potential for permanent roles — this could be a great fit for you. Industries You May Work In: * Construction and earthmoving * Waste and recycling services * Transport and delivery * Utility and road maintenance Key Duties: * Operate heavy machinery (e.g. excavators, bulldozers, loaders, rollers, graders) * Perform daily checks and basic maintenance * Load and move materials safely * Follow site instructions and health & safety protocols * Assist with earthworks, trenching, grading, and backfilling tasks Hours & Locations: This is temporary and on-call work, so flexibility is key. Most assignments are short-term, but permanent opportunities may arise based on performance and client needs.Worksites are spread throughout the Hutt Valley.
