* $35+ Per Hour & Night Allowance * Night Shift Role within Christchurch * Long Term Commercial Project Trade Assist is looking for an experienced Digger Operator to take on a night shift role in Christchurch. You will play a key role in operating heavy equipment, collaborating with the team and carrying out tasks as needed. Key Responsibilities: * Safely operating 5T-13T diggers on night shift on a large project. * Assisting with foundation prep, backfilling, trenching and other various tasks. * Excellent communication and ability to work effectively on your own and as part of a team. * Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans and blueprints. * Carry out routine equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns. Requirements: * Minimum of 3+ years' proven experience as a digger operator in New Zealand. * Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work. * Reliable transport and a punctual work ethic. * Site Safe certification is advantageous but not essential. * WTR and Full Class 1 licence or above.
