Rogers LS3/5A Compact Speakers

Classic Rogers LS3/5A speakers, probably from the mid 1980s. In good condition and perform as they should, with that famous BBC monitor sound which reproduces voices, particularly female, superbly. The speakers produce a refined, detailed sound across the spectrum but which is never harsh, so they deliver a non-fatiguing and satisfying listen. You may hear things on your favourite recordings that you've never heard before with such clarity. Speakers are a pair with A & B suffixes. Please note that there are a couple of superficial marks on the speakers (see photos). These LS3/5A speakers have been in use until recently when I bought (and marginally prefer) a different pair of monitors. Worth a go at this money? You decide. Questions welcome.
