




About Borland Lodge Borland Lodge is a special place nestled on the edge of Fiordland National Park. The facility is publicly owned and primarily caters to school groups during the week, offering outdoor education experiences in a spectacular natural setting. On weekends and public holidays, it opens its doors to families, community groups, and visitors who want to enjoy the outdoors or celebrate special occasions. Learn more at borlandlodge.co.nz About the Role The Assistant Manager will work alongside the Lodge Manager in the daily operation of the facility. This hands-on role is varied and includes: *Supporting the smooth running of lodge activities and events. *Assisting with hosting school and community groups. *Helping maintain facilities and grounds. *Contributing to the welcoming, safe, and well-organised environment that Borland Lodge is known for. This is a part-time, salaried role (up to 24 hours per week), and the successful applicant is expected to be available to live onsite during those hours. Who We’re Looking For We’re seeking someone who is: *Practical, reliable, and adaptable. *Comfortable living and working in a unique rural setting. *Able to work collaboratively with the Lodge Manager and Trustees *Enthusiastic about the outdoors, education, and community.
