Varied role with plenty of physical activity Expression of Interest – Ground Maintenance / Groundskeeper We are seeking expressions of interest from motivated and reliable individuals for a Ground Maintenance / Groundskeeper role based across multiple sites in Wellington. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and is comfortable travelling between sites. Hours of Work - Monday to Friday - 7:00am – 4:00pm About the Role You will be responsible for the upkeep and presentation of extensive grounds and facilities across the Wellington CBD. Duties include: - General ground maintenance across multiple sites - Extensive walking (up to 20km per day) across large areas - Heavy lifting and manual handling - Setting up rooms and facilities, including moving furniture - Supporting general site needs as required - Travelling between sites throughout Wellington About You - To be successful in this role, you will need to be: - Physically fit and capable of sustained manual work - Honest, reliable, and self-motivated - Comfortable working independently across multiple locations - Well organised with good time management skills - Flexible and willing to assist with a variety of tasks - Requirements - Full Class 1 manual driver licence (preferred) - Ability to travel between multiple sites daily - Previous grounds, maintenance, or facilities experience is an advantage What We Offer - Stable weekday hours - A varied role with plenty of physical activity - The opportunity to work across diverse sites in Wellington - If you are hardworking, enjoy being active, and take pride in maintaining grounds and facilities to a high standard, we’d love to hear from you.
