We're looking for an experienced Fleet Coordinator to join our dedicated and focused Fleet Management team in People and Customer, Corporate Services. This is a 12- month fixed term role based in our central Wellington office in Cuba Mall.
**About the role:**
As Fleet Coordinator you will report to the Manager Fleet and will assist in administrating and coordinating the various aspects of Greater Wellington's vehicle fleet and other internal transport modes. This includes purchasing and disposal of vehicles, coordinating ongoing servicing and maintenance requirements with business teams, and ensuring our vehicles comply with New Zealand law.
There will also be a requirement to analyse and prepare reports in relation to driver trends, driver training, financial and sustainability (emissions etc) and raising/dealing with any health and safety concerns.
**Skills and experience required:**
* Proven experience in administrating a vehicle fleet using telematics
* Sound analytical and reporting ability
* Methodical and organised, with great time-management and experience in multi-tasking and prioritisation
* Self-motivated with a flexible approach
* Proven can-do attitude to deliver great customer service
* Current full NZ drivers licence essential
* Comfortable driving a wide range of vehicles in an urban and rural environment
* High level of effective communication skills, with a wide range of people from all walks of life

The remuneration for this position, inclusive of all benefits, is $62,642 to $93,962, with a midpoint of $78,302. Starting remuneration will depend on the skills and experience of the successful applicant. Appointment is generally around the middle of the range.
