Summary: This role involves preparing detailed and accurate quotes for stone fabrication projects, liaising with clients and internal teams, and ensuring timely completion of all documentation. Maintain up-to-date pricing for materials, suppliers, and labour costs. Key Responsibilities • Prepare detailed and accurate quotes for residential and commercial stone fabrication projects. • Review plans, drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to determine material, labour, and production costs. • Ensure all quotes are completed and issued within 24 hours of receiving complete project details. • Liaise with clients, builders, architects, and internal teams to clarify scope and requirements. • Select appropriate materials (e.g., engineered stone, granite, porcelain, marble) and calculate quantities. • Work closely with production and installation teams to ensure feasibility and alignment with operational capacity. • Maintain up-to-date pricing for materials, suppliers, and labour costs. • Follow up on submitted quotes to convert opportunities into confirmed orders. • Assist with variations, revisions, and re-quoting as required. • Ensure all documentation is accurate, well-presented, and stored in company systems. Key Skills and Experience • Previous experience in estimating, quoting, or sales within the stone fabrication, construction, or cabinetry industry preferred. • Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail. • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications. • Proficiency in estimating software, spreadsheets, and CRM systems. • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines (especially 24-hour quote turnaround). • Strong communication and customer service skills. • Knowledge of stone products, fabrication processes, and installation methods is advantageous but not essential Personal Attributes • Highly organised and efficient under pressure • Proactive and solution-focused • Strong work ethic and accountability • Team player with the ability to work independently
