This permanent, full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to various projects while working in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities: - Operate trenching machinery and equipment safely and efficiently. - Excavate trenches for utilities, foundations, and drainage systems. - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during operations. - Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance. - Collaborate with Foreman and other team members to coordinate tasks. - Report any issues or hazards promptly. - Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. - Separate materials while trenching. - Qualifications: - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in trenching. - Valid New Zealand driver's licence, up to and including Class 4 preferably. - WTR Endorsement. - Proven ability to operate trenching machinery and equipment. - Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in the construction industry. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments. - Ability to read and plans.
