About the Role: Depending on your qualification level, you will be involved in a range of traffic management duties supporting safe and compliant work sites across roading and civil projects. Typical responsibilities include: * Setting up, monitoring, and removing temporary traffic management sites * Directing and controlling traffic around construction and maintenance works * Installing and maintaining signage, cones, barriers, and other traffic control devices * Supporting or leading site operations depending on qualification level * Conducting site checks and responding to changing conditions * Assisting with general labouring duties when required What We're Looking For: * STMS Cat A/B or STMS Cat P or TTM and TMO-P tickets * Full Class 1 driver's licence (Class 2 an advantage) * Solid understanding of traffic management procedures * Ability to work safely and confidently in high-pressure environments * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused attitude * Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and early starts What's On Offer: * Full-time hours, potential overtime available * Ongoing and long-term assignments with reputable contractors * Weekly pay * Competitive hourly rates based on qualifications and experience Apply Now If you hold a current STMS, TTM, or TMO-P qualification and are looking for steady work in Christchurch traffic management, ALH wants to hear from you!
