Opportunities for career growth and upskilling STMS We’re on the lookout for an experienced STMS to join the team in Hastings. If you’re confident running sites, leading crews, and keeping traffic flowing safely, this is a solid opportunity to get stuck into a variety of civil projects across the region. Location: Hastings, Hawke’s Bay Start date: Immediate Pay rate: $30–$36 per hour (weekly pay) What you’ll be doing: - Set up, maintain, and remove Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) sites - Read and implement Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) - Supervise and coordinate TTM crews on-site - Ensure all work complies with NZTA and site safety standards - Carry out site checks and adjust traffic control as needed - Communicate with clients, contractors, and the public - Complete site documentation and reports What we’re looking for: - Current STMS qualification (Cat A/B/C preferred) - Full Class 1 driver’s licence minimum - Proven experience in traffic management or civil works - Ability to lead a crew and run a site confidently - Strong understanding of health & safety practices What’s in it for you: - Weekly pay, solid hours, and potential for ongoing work - Supportive crew with good gear and a strong safety focus - Opportunities to upskill and grow your STMS career About Tradestaff: Tradestaff is a leading recruitment agency specialising in trades and industrial placements across New Zealand.
