Taggart Earthmoving Ltd is a family-owned business that started in 1953 and have been part of many large projects in and around Canterbury and the wider South Island. We specialise in large scale earthworks projects, site works, drainage, demolition, heavy haulage and shingle processing and sales. Here at Taggart, we take pride in our work, because of this we are known for many awards and the high-quality workmanship with any project we take on.
We are looking for a qualified water installer to join our existing Waters Team; to be successful in this role, you will ideally have the following:
• NZ Certificate in Pipeline Construction & Maintenance Level 4
• Christchurch City Council approved water supply installer status
• NZDL Class 1,2 and 4 with WTR Endorsement
• High personal standards and a positive attitude towards health and safety and the environment
• Have 3-4 years’ experience post qualification
• Passion for water industry and mentoring new trainees
• Technical ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
• Excellent communication skills
• Competent in digger operations relating to trenching; and
• A can-do attitude.
