We specialise in large scale earthworks projects, site works, drainage, demolition, heavy haulage and shingle processing and sales. Here at Taggart we take pride in our work, because of this we are known for many awards and high quality workmanship with any project we take on. About you: • Qualified drainlayer or equivalent in Drainlaying. • CCC approved preferable. • Ability to work to the Taggart Core Values. • Willingness to get off the machine and help others as needed. • Have the ability to meet daily production targets. • Values equipment and takes pride in preventive maintenance. • Has a positive, can do attitude and ability to work well in a team environment or independently. • Ability to lead a team on site, including subcontractors. • Can work effectively and efficiently for extended periods of time with limited supervision. • Can make sound decisions. • High personal standards of presentation. • Drug free (Pre-employment, reasonable cause, post-incident and random drug testing). To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: • Excavator experience with a drainage / trenching background • Full New Zealand Drivers Licence class 1-4 (WTR) • Site Safe Passport (Preferable) • High personal standards and a positive attitude towards health and safety
