Key Responsibilities: * Installation, maintenance, and repair of stormwater and wastewater systems * Read and interpret drainage plans and site layouts * Operate machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently * Ensure all work meets NZ building and drainage codes * Liaise with site managers, contractors, and team members * Maintain a clean and safe work site at all times Requirements: * NZ Certified or Licensed Drainlayer (or working towards certification) * Minimum 2 years of relevant experience * Full NZ Driver's Licence (Class 1 essential, Class 2 an advantage) * Strong knowledge of drainage systems and relevant regulations * Ability to work independently and in a team * Commitment to health and safety practices * Good communication and problem-solving skills Desirable: * WTR endorsements * Site Safe or ConstructSafe certification * Experience with civil or subdivision work What We Offer: * Competitive hourly rate * Full-time, ongoing work with a stable pipeline of projects * Supportive and respectful work environment * Opportunities for career development and upskilling If you're a skilled Drainlayer looking for your next challenge in Christchurch, apply now!
