We’ve got an exciting Switching Planner - 12 month fixed term role just for you! In this position, you’ll get to provide a work planning service with responsibility for the effective planning and execution of distribution and substation maintenance work, making a real impact. About the Role The successful candidates will work on key responsibilities like: • Working with internal staff to improve efficiencies on the way a job is planned. • Working with customers/EOC to ensure the desired result for each job. • Writing and checking switching documents for planned shutdowns. • Work closely with the Asset holder resource planners to advertise shutdowns. • Dealing with SCADA updates and corrections to Vector SCADA. • Preparing documentation and ordering asset numbers. Qualifications and Skills • Understanding of GIS and SCADA • Preferred knowledge of current regulatory and industry requirements. • Sound computer skills and experience, MS Office, SCADA network & GIS • Knowledge of Northern & Auckland SCADA and Switching processes Who are we?
