Opportunity to contribute to energy conservation and efficiency improvements **Te Tūranga | About the Role** We are seeking a Services Engineer to join our Pacific Site, near Hastings. Reporting to the Services Supervisor, you'll be responsible for the operation and maintenance of key site services, including refrigeration, boilers, water, air, effluent, and ventilation systems. Key responsibilities: * Operate and maintain ammonia refrigeration and water reticulation systems * Oversee boilers, hot water, compressed air, and ventilation systems * Respond to breakdowns and restore full capacity quickly and safely * Support compliance with Building WOF, resource consents, and OSH requirements * Assist in training and mentoring maintenance staff in services areas * Contribute to energy conservation and efficiency improvements **This role operates on a rotating day and night shift cycle:** Monday to Friday, 6:00am-3:00pm and 3:45pm-12:45am with occasional overtime and weekend work **Ōu Pūkenga | About You** You'll bring an engineering qualification with experience in services or utilities. Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration, water reticulation, and effluent systems will set you up for success. You'll be safety-focused, technically skilled, and confident troubleshooting under pressure.
