We are looking for a talented QS Estimator to provide accurate cost estimates for bespoke steel and aluminium flashing fabrication and mechanical projects. You will work with closely with our design team, project managers and skilled fabricators to deliver complex custom flashing solutions to our clients. Key Responsibilities: *Review and interpret bespoke project specifications, drawings and documents. *Prepare detailed estimates for custom steel and aluminium flashing fabrication projects. *Analyse project costs, including labour, materials and equipment. *Collaborate with designers and project managers to ensure estimates are accurate and complete. *Identify and quantify risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. *Provide expert advice on cost saving opportunities and value engineering options. Skills and Experience: *3 + years experience in QS Estimates for steel fabrication. *Strong understanding of flashing fabrication processes, materials and costs. *Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. *Strong communication and team work skills. *Relevant trade qualification of degree in Quantity Surveying or related field *Knowledge of building codes and regulations (NZBC etc)
