




About the role: As a Faultperson, you'll play a critical role in maintaining and restoring power across our electricity distribution network. Your responsibilities will include carrying out repairs, performing HV switching, testing and earthing equipment, and responding to faults by investigating, isolating, and restoring supply. Safety is our top priority, so we're looking for someone who shares that commitment and thrives in a team environment. You'll also need to be available for our faults standby roster, which includes evenings and weekends. Because this role involves interacting with the public, strong customer service skills are essential. This is your chance to join a tight-knit, team during our busiest season. In this role, you will: * Perform approved switching on network equipment for planned and unplanned situations. * Test and earth equipment safely and effectively. * Ensure compliance with all operational, regulatory, and customer requirements meeting and exceeding expectations where possible. * Conduct internal audits as required. * Foster open communication and respond appropriately to team needs. About you: * At least 5 years' experience as an Electrician, Line Mechanic, or Cable Jointer. * Experience with remedial/fault work, including switching (preferred). * A valid driver's licence. * Ability to participate in the after-hours faults roster. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * A positive attitude and a collaborative approach.
