Applicants will be required to have an in-depth knowledge of agricultural practices, especially agronomy, gained from experience in the rural industry. This is a role for an enthusiastic person that enjoys working outdoors and getting satisfaction from client successes while being supported by experienced and friendly local team. They should also have a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and possess effective planning, organizational, and communication skills. Previous experience with the seasonal needs of sheep and beef farmers is a must as is in-depth knowledge of pasture renewal and forage cropping programs necessary for the area. Applicants would need to possess some basic computer skills and hold a current driver's licence. As the position includes duties that require an amount of physical effort a reasonable level of fitness is also required.
