About the role
As a Qualified Arborist, you'll be involved in a wide variety of work including:
• Tree pruning and crown reductions
• Tree removals and dismantling
• Advanced climbing operations
• Hazardous tree assessment and removal
• Large-scale roadside vegetation projects
• Powerline clearance and utility arboriculture work
• Operating specialised machinery and equipment
• Supervising and mentoring crew members
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety
No two days are the same. One day you may be carrying out technical climbing work in a residential setting, the next working alongside specialised machinery on a large-scale roadside project, or completing utility arboriculture work.
What are we looking for?
• Minimum 2 years' arboriculture experience
• Level 3 or Level 4 Arboriculture qualification
• Strong climbing and practical arborist skills
• Commitment to safe work practices
• Good communication and leadership ability
• Full NZ Driver Licence
• Utility Arborist tickets (advantageous)
