Start-up and ongoing training provided McIndoe Logging Ltd require the services of experienced and/or qualified Shovel Loader operator within our harvesting operations in the Gisborne/Wairoa Regions. This is a great opportunity for a suitably experienced and/or qualified operator to secure a permanent role ( Minimum of 30 Hours weekly) and be part of a well established company. The successful applicant will need to: * have a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role in the forestry industry OR * hold NZQA unit standards for Mechanised Felling (not required if applicant has proven work experience). * have a great work ethic; * always be punctual and reliable; * take utmost pride in your gear and work * work within Operating policy guidelines at all times * have a sound knowledge of Plant operation and daily Maintenance * be drug free and work well in a team environment Start-up and ongoing training will be provided to the successful candidate McIndoe Logging Limited is a well established company with long term Corporate harvesting contracts in place giving great job security for all staff.
