We are on the lookout for a positive, passionate and versatile person to work to work in our aweosme food truck, the Fush Waka as well as fill in across our other hospo venues. What you'll need to apply for the job: • Our truck is a manual and requires a Class 2 license. So you'll need to be able to drive a manual and either have a Class 2 license or be willing to get it. Most our jobs are in Canterbury and we only travel outside of the region every now and then. • You'll be helping to run the Fush Waka at events. That means having a passion for serving guests out of the truck, or if that's not your strong point, then you'll have to be able to cook our yummy kai (mainly deep frying). Either way, you'll be part of a team serving up delicious kai and delivering the Fush experience to our guests. • You'll need to be pretty physically fit - why? Because you'll be helping to pack the truck in and out, before and after events. You don't need to be an athlete, but you'll be on your feet a lot and lifting plenty of boxes of chips and fried chicken all day. • Excellent communication and organisational skills so you can deal with guests and event organisers, as well as handle any challenges that come up on the job. • A proactive and flexible approach, as the hours vary throughout the year and sometimes include out-of-town events. When you're not in the food truck working, you'll be able to pick up extra hrs in one of our other hospo venues too. • Lastly, we're looking for someone who is passionate about providing top-quality service and thrives on making every customer interaction special.
