




Summary: This role supports Learning and Development for Project Burgundy, equipping teams with essential learning and system tools for a seamless transition to a new facility. Highlights: 1. Design, develop, and validate a range of learning materials and tools 2. Collaborate with SMEs to create tailored learning content and SOPs 3. Utilize various tools and systems to present information effectively Laminex NZ is seeking a highly skilled and tech-savvy Learning Developer to support our Learning and Development function for Project Burgundy. This pivotal role will ensure our teams are equipped with the best learning, systems tools and resources to seamlessly transition from our current manufacturing site to our brand-new state of the art production facility in 2026. This is a fixed term role for 6 months, commencing in March 2026. It will require frequent travel to the Taupo site (if located outside of Taupo) as we get closer to completion. Ideally, it is based in Taupo with some travel to Auckland and other sites. Key Responsibilities: * Accountable for the design, development and validation of a range of learning materials, resources and evaluation tools. * Work closely with Subject Matter Experts and Suppliers, to develop learning materials and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that are effectively integrated and tailored for different audiences. * Utilise tools and systems to present information in a digestible manner, facilitating smooth transitions to Business as Usual and onboarding processes Requirements: * Expertise and experience in a dedicated Instructional Design, Learning and Development role, preferrable within the manufacturing, construction sectors, or as a part of a project * Experience recording and editing videos (as we will be capturing supplier training to validate and develop BAU resources) * Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills * Experience is learning design tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, Articulate Rise, Camtasia, Snagit and Adobe Illustrator * Strong stakeholder management and communication skills * If not based in Taupo, a willingness to travel frequently to Taupo, including some overnight stays * Able to work in a constantly changing environment Join us at Laminex NZ and play a crucial role in transforming our new manufacturing site with cutting-edge technology.
