About The Role:
The role is based out of our Christchurch branch and is permanent full-time, 40 hours per week with on-call/overtime available. Your package will include competitive hourly rates dependent on experience and you must hold a clean, full, class 1 drivers licence.
As a Water Services Technician, your role will be to service domestic and commercial wastewater treatment systems in an efficient and safe manner including experience in some or all of the specified duties below:
• Maintain and service on site Wastewater Treatment systems.
• Maintain and Service pump chambers.
• Assess and Dye test Gravity Fed systems.
• UV Treatment.
• Maintain and repair submersible pumps, air blowers and controllers.
Other duties will include:
• Raingarden inspection and maintenance.
• Stormwater tank inspection and maintenance.
ABOUT YOU:
You will display strong fault-finding skills and focus on delivering high quality work, have the ability to be self-managing and work independently, be proactive and able to demonstrate good judgement, be fit and healthy and have experience within the service industry. Servicing electrical equipment including submersible pumps is an advantage. You must have a positive attitude and be keen to learn, with strong English written communication abilities.
