As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Measure Technician to join our Christchurch team based in Hornby. About the Role This is a hands-on, field-based position responsible for measuring completed kitchen joinery installations and creating accurate benchtop templates for our pre-production team. You will work both manually and with advanced laser templating technology, travelling between residential and commercial sites throughout Christchurch and the wider Canterbury region. A company vehicle and all required equipment will be provided to the successful applicant. Key Responsibilities • Conduct accurate site measurements of completed kitchen joinery and benchtop installations • Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications • Create raw benchtop files for the pre-production team • Operate hand measuring tools and learn to use a Laser Products 2D3D laser templating system • Liaise professionally with customers, builders, and installers on-site • Travel regularly throughout Christchurch and Canterbury, with occasional travel outside the region as required About You To be successful in this role, you will have: • Experience in the construction industry, ideally within kitchen joinery, benchtops, cabinetry, or related trades • Proven experience reading and interpreting construction plans and blueprints • Strong measuring and site templating skills with excellent attention to detail • The ability to learn and operate laser measurement technology • A high level of self-motivation and the ability to work independently • Excellent communication and customer service skills • A positive, can-do attitude and commitment to producing quality work • Flexibility to work overtime when required • A current full New Zealand driver's licence What's on Offer? • Full-time position with a minimum of 40 hours per week • Paid overtime when required • Company vehicle provided • Full training on industry-leading laser templating technology • Opportunity to work for New Zealand's leading benchtop company • Supportive team environment with a strong focus on safety and quality • Relocation assistance available for suitable candidates moving to Christchurch from elsewhere in New Zealand Why AGB?
