We’ll be providing Mechanical, Servicing and Warrant of Fitness services using the latest technologies. We invest in our people to develop their skills, and ensure our workplace is safe and environmentally sustainable. *We are looking for people to work at either the Silverdale or Constellation Drive sites. * Days of work are between Monday to Saturday (Saturdays will be rostered) In a nutshell As the Technical Advisor your role will be to provide comprehensive technical assistance and support to customers while delivering high-quality vehicle maintenance and repair services. This role demands a combination of technical expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer service. The site will have innovative diagnostic technology making them unique in their industry. You will be pivotal in ensuring that all services meet the highest standards of safety and efficiency. You will also be the “go-to” person for less experienced technicians and embark on a journey towards more senior roles within the business. Day to day * Provide technical assistance to customers * Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat in a timely and professional manner * Assist in diagnosing vehicle concerns and advise on repair process * Work cohesively with the Customer Care team to ensure that the repairs are carried out on time * Ensure that the customer service experience is at the highest level * Coordinate the day to day workshop operations to ensure agreed customer deadlines are met * Conduct routine maintenance services according to manufacturer guidelines and company standards * Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning etc * Utilise diagnostic tools to accurately identify vehicle issues and determine appropriate solutions * Mentor and train junior technicians, fostering a collaborative environment to enhance team skills and cohesion * Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and time spent on each task * Collaborate with Customer Service Representatives and Parts Administrator ensure optimal workflow and customer satisfaction * Stay current with industry technology and attend relevant training sessions * All other administrative duties in relation to the role Skills and capabilities * Trade qualified automotive technician with strong diagnostic skills * Hold a current Warrant of Fitness Authority, or be eligible to attain one * Be confident, articulate and have professional speaking abilities * Have experience coordinating day to day activities in an automotive mechanical repair workshop * This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and accessible manner * Have resilience to handle challenging or high-pressure situations * Basic competency with MS Excel, and excellent written communication skills are also required. * Experience with a DMS / CRM system will be highly advantageous The successful candidate will be rewarded with: * A generous base salary with company vehicle and fuel provided * Training, personal development and career progression opportunities * Employee benefits, including 50% insurance discounts and corporate partner discounts * AMI Motorhub is an equal opportunity employer.
