We’ve built a reputation for quality design, manufacture, and installation, and have branches across the country (Auckland, Nelson, Blenheim, Christchurch, and Cromwell). We are seeking a Leading Hand to join our Christchurch team. You’ll be coordinating production workflow for custom-made kitchens & joinery for residential new-builds, renovations and some commercial projects. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented tradesperson looking to take the next step in their career. You’ll be responsible for: • Coordinating with the Factory Manager to manage and streamline the production workflow for custom-made kitchens and bespoke joinery projects • Planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay • Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time for dispatch • Checking all work leaving the factory and making sure that everything is fit for purpose The ideal candidate will have: • Experience in kitchen manufacture and installation (or an allied construction role) • The ability to read plans • Meticulous attention to detail • Excellent written and oral communication skills • A strong commitment to health & safety • Passion for excellent customer service We offer: • A great team environment • The opportunity to join an established, national company • A commitment to health & safety • EAP services for staff and immediate family • PPE supplied This is a full-time permanent position, with competitive remuneration in line with your experience.
