The role involves cutting, fitting, installing, and repairing glass in a variety of settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial environments. You will work with different types of glass and glazing systems while ensuring quality workmanship, precision, and safety at all times. Key Responsibilities: * Measure, cut, and install glass for windows, doors, mirrors, skylights, and other structures * Remove broken or damaged glass safely and replace it with new panes * Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine glass requirements * Fit glass into aluminium, timber, or steel frames * Seal joints with silicone, putty, or other sealing compounds to ensure a secure fit * Operate tools and machinery such as glass cutters, grinders, and polishing equipment * Handle and transport glass safely using appropriate lifting and safety gear * Work on-site or in the workshop as required * Follow all health and safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and safe manual handling practices Skills and Experience: * Minimum 3 years of glazing experience preferred * Strong practical and problem-solving skills * Ability to read and interpret plans or drawings * Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship * Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination * Full driver's licence preferred * Experience with double glazing, frameless glass, or commercial glazing is advantageous If you're looking for a role that offers variety, the chance to work on interesting projects, and the opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive environment, we want to hear from you!
