The Role: The Flooring Installer is responsible for preparing floors and installing carpet to a professional standard. This role involves site preparation, carpet uplifting, underlay installation, carpet laying, seaming, stretching, trimming, and final finishing. You will work as part of a team, following job plans and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Responsibilities will include: * Loading materials at the depot and transporting them safely to site * Conducting site safety assessments and checking plans on arrival * Uplifting old carpet, underlay, and smoothedge * Preparing subfloors, including sweeping, inspection, and reporting issues * Installing smoothedge, naplock bars, and underlay * Laying, cutting, joining, stretching, and fitting new carpet * Installing trims and transition bars and rehanging doors * Performing quality checks to ensure joins, tension, and finish are correct * Cleaning the site, removing waste, and returning materials to the depot * Completing job sheets and required documentation * Working in a clean, organised, and safe environment * Measure floor areas accurately to determine material requirements Requirements: * At least 3 years' relevant flooring or carpet installation experience * Ability to install carpet to a high professional standard * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow plans and instructions * Physically fit and capable of manual handling * Team player with a valid driver's licence * Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test * Have a clean police record with no charges pending * Relevant flooring certificates or qualifications are highly regarded To Apply: If you are a skilled Flooring Installer looking for a rewarding opportunity to join a professional team, we encourage you to apply.
