Summary: This role involves carrying out drainage works on various civil and infrastructure projects, requiring a reliable individual with a positive attitude. Highlights: 1. Engaging in diverse drainage works, from subdivisions to roading projects Drainlayers required. Skills & attributes required: - Minimum of 2 years Drainlaying experience - Must be based in NZ (Applicants outside the country will not be considered) - Reliable with a positive can-do attitude - Hardworking & eager to learn - Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions What’s on Offer: - Top rates plus 8% Annual Leave, Kiwisaver and Weekly Pay - Ongoing, long-term work across large Civil & Infrastructure projects - Long weekly hours available - Great team culture and support on site Duties & Responsibilities: Carrying out drainage works on subdivisions, roading projects, commercial builds, and wider infrastructure improvements. - Assist with setting out and preparing trenches for drainage installation - Handle, load, and position pipes, fittings, and drainage materials - Measuring, cutting, and joining pipes to site specifications - Ability to work safely alongside Machine Operators - Comply with all Health & Safety procedures on site Please note: applicants must be based in New Zealand and have proven Drainlaying experience. applications not meeting these requirements will not be considered. barry@franklinsmithgroup.co.nz
