We do a lot of kitchen work, but also cut a wide range of custom jobs for both DIY customers and trade clients — so there’s plenty of variety. We’re a team of three in the factory, and you’ll be one of two programmers, working closely together to keep jobs flowing and customers looked after. ________________________________________ What the role looks like: This is a mix of computer-based programming and customer interaction. You’ll be: • Programming jobs using AlphaCAM (training provided for the right person) • Working from plans, drawings, or sometimes just ideas • Dealing directly with customers – in person, on the phone, and via email • Managing repeat clients, all with their own preferences and ways of doing things • Keeping jobs organised, accurate, and running on time It’s not just sitting behind a screen — you’re a key part of making sure each job is right from start to finish. ________________________________________ Who this would suit: • An experienced CNC programmer, or • A cabinetry/joinery maker ready to step off the tools and into a programming role If you’ve got strong computer skills, attention to detail, and the confidence to deal with customers, we can teach you the AlphaCAM side. ________________________________________ What we’re looking for: • Strong attention to detail and solid computer skills • Confident communicator — comfortable dealing with a range of customers • Good memory and organisation — clients all have their own preferences • Adaptable and able to juggle different jobs and priorities • Practical understanding of cabinetry/joinery (preferred) • Clear and confident English — a big part of the role is working directly with customers • Must have the right to work in NZ ________________________________________
