We are looking for energetic and motivated Fulltime Support Workers to help the people we support in our Masterton residential services. **What does a Support Worker do?** **|** **He aha te mahi a te Kaimahi Tautoko** This is a busy and diverse role, supporting people with various aspects of daily life and to do the things they want to do such as going swimming, personal cares, support with meals, household management tasks and teaching life skills. - The list is endless! Support Workers are part of a team who work shifts or specific rosters providing 24/7 support. Our shift-times are 7am to 3pm – 3pm to 11pm and wakeover/sleepover 11pm to 7am. You need to be respectful of others thinking, and their way of living life that may be different to your own. - Flexibility to work overnight shifts across a roster, including weekends. **Empathy, respect, and cultural awareness is important in this role as the people we support come from diverse backgrounds with varying needs and interests.** *If you are passionate about supporting people, then maybe there is a role for you here.
