Weinert Modellbau SBB shunting tractor (the Swiss Kof), HO, AC analogue, new!

I bought this model when in Germany years ago. A good friend worked in a specialist shop and persuaded me to get it as his boss had marked it down due to the box being a bit shopsoiled! It was such a beautiful quiet runner and not the slightest hint of a jump on pulse reversing. I have never run it on a layout. Suitable for Marklin. Can it be converted to digital? I don’t know, you will need to research this yourself. It is still available from Weinert directly both as a factory finished model (which mine is) or as a kit. See images from their website. Note the Euro prices!!! I don’t think there will be many kiwis prepared to pay such prices for such a tiny loco. Note my reserve compared to the KIT price. But it may appeal to those with Swiss focused layouts, it's rather special - must be some in NZ!
