This is a hands on role working in a dynamic team environment, ideal for someone who enjoys assembling machinery and seeing projects come together from the ground up. Our client is a well established business preparing for the commissioning of automated equipment in this zone. While no manufacturing is currently running on site, your work will be key to getting everything ready for March. Key Info * Start Date: 3rd March 2026 * Duration: 5-6 weeks * Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:00am–3:00pm * Location: Wiri, Auckland * Rate: Negotiable based on experience Responsibilities * Assemble machine parts, motors, conveyors and automated equipment * Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards * Work in two person teams for most tasks * Complete on site induction prior to starting Applicants Must Have * Qualified Mechanical Fitter with 3+ years post qualification experience * Confident in assembling automated equipment * Own hand tools * Forklift ticket desirable * Pre-employment drug test and clear MOJ required.
