




We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic, people-focused Store Manager to join the team at Puku Pies & Kai. If you’re someone who loves hearty kai, great coffee, banter with the regulars and knows how to keep a team humming this could be your dream job. As Store Manager, you’ll be the glue that holds the shop together. From leading the FOH crew and keeping things running like clockwork, to making sure customers have an unforgettable experience, this role is all about being hands-on, organised, and full of good vibes. We’re looking for someone with: * Proven experience in a leadership or management role (hospitality or retail preferred) * Confidence running a shift and leading a team * Strong people and communication skills * Great organisational skills and a sharp eye for detail * The ability to stay cool when it gets busy * A love for creating a positive, team-first work environment * Availability for weekend work and early starts Bonus points if you’ve got: * Barista experience * A good laugh and a bad joke or two * A soft spot for a perfectly baked pie What you’ll be doing: * Running the day-to-day operations of the store * Leading and supporting the FOH team - setting the tone, setting the standard * Rostering, and training new staff * Keeping track of stock and placing supplier orders * Managing opening/closing shifts * Solving problems before they become problems * Delivering awesome customer service - and making sure your team does too * Working closely with operations to keep the vibe high and the pies flying Why join us?
