Hands-on role with focus on operational management Our busy restaurant and function room is looking for an experienced, confident and competent Restaurant/Functions Manager who shows initiative to join our staff. This position requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends. The right candidate will be required to work well under pressure and problem solve. As this is a hands-on role, along with the running the daily operations, your duties will include however not limited to the following: * Communicate effectively with management, the full kitchen team and wait staff * Maintain high level of service, adding to the customer experience * Cash handling and cash ups * Manage our front of house team * Health and safety * Reservations and functions * Ensure business complies with Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 * Cost Control * Motivate your team The ideal candidate will have: * Previous hospitality experience * The ability to lead a team. * The ability to follow proven systems and procedures. * Great presentation & personal hygiene. * Be honest & reliable. * Be a Team Player * Able to work nights & weekends. * Hold a valid Managers Certificate.
