We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Site Engineer to play a key role in the successful delivery of a large-scale subdivision. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the full project lifecycle — from earthworks to utilities to final handover — on a high-profile site.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Efficiently manage and coordinate daily site operations on a large subdivision project
* Ensure construction activities meet design specifications, quality standards, and health & safety requirements
* Support planning of construction methods and monitor progress against programme timelines
* Assist in setting out works, quantity tracking, and reporting site progress
* Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and inspections on-site
* Contribute to environmental and safety compliance and uphold best practices on-site
* Oversee or complete quality assurance documentation and testing in line with project requirements
* Maintain effective communication between project managers, site teams, and stakeholders
About You:
* Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering (or similar)
* 3+ years' of New Zealand based experience in civil infrastructure or land development
* Strong understanding of subdivision construction — earthworks, drainage, roading, utilities
* Familiar with NZS3910 and local authority standards
* Confident in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
* Proactive, organised, and committed to delivering high-quality work
* Strong H&S and environmental awareness
