We’re looking for a commercially minded and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our Finance team based at our Halsey Street office in Auckland. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working across both financial and management accounting while partnering closely with operational leaders. About the Role Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the business through accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a varied role where you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end month-end process, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring compliance obligations are met, and providing meaningful financial insights to operational stakeholders. Key Responsibilities * Prepare monthly group management accounts and complete month-end reporting processes within deadlines * Analyse financial performance against forecasts and provide commentary and insights to the Management Team * Prepare weekly and monthly financial and non-financial reports * Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are completed accurately and on time * Oversee tax compliance activities including GST and FBT returns * Assist with annual audits and statutory financial statement preparation * Identify opportunities to improve finance and accounting processes * Support business development initiatives and ad-hoc finance projects * Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning activities About You To be successful in this role, you’ll bring: * 3+ years’ experience in a finance or accounting role * Experience using LOIS * Experience with accounting software/ERP – TIMS and Sage * CA qualification * Experience working with IFRS16 * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills * Advanced Excel capability * Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business * A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail Why Join Kinetic?
