Opportunity to play an important part in ensuring safe, compliant cylinders About the Job: • Monday to Friday 2pm to 10pm • Saturday day-work during busy times • Hillsborough, Christchurch location We’re looking for a hands-on Test Station Operator to join the team. In this role you’ll be testing and re-certifying LPG cylinders to make sure they’re safe, compliant and ready to go back into service. You’ll work closely with a team of Testers and the wider plant team to keep things running smoothly and efficiently. This is a practical role suited to someone who likes staying busy, takes pride in doing the job right and works well as part of a team. What you will be doing: • Working in a busy hands-on environment where no two days are the same. • Being part of a supportive team that works together to hit daily targets • Keeping equipment, tools, and the work area clean and in good working order. • Completing safety and compliance checks and reporting any issues quickly. • Helping out in other areas of the plant when needed. • Playing an important part in making sure only safe, compliant cylinders leave the site. • Working in a team that values safety, quality, and getting the job done right. Preference for those who have: • LPGA Cylinder Filler certification • IANZ Approved Signatory status • Experience testing or inspecting cylinders • Knowledge of gas cylinder testing or compliance requirements • Forklift licence Successful applicants will need to pass pre-employment checks, including references, criminal history, ACC history, medical, and drug & alcohol screening.
