We are seeking a reliable and motivated Production Operator to join an exciting new manufacturing team in Hamilton, specialising in roofing and cladding products. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with machine operating experience who takes pride in producing quality work and working safely. About the Role: This position involves operating a roll forming machine to create roofing and cladding sheets from iron coils. A significant part of the role includes the safe use of an overhead gantry crane to load coils onto the machine, monitoring product quality, and accurately recording production data. Key Responsibilities: * Operating roll forming machinery * Safely using an overhead gantry crane to load materials * Producing roofing and cladding sheets to specification * Conducting quality control checks and recording production data * Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment Skills and Experience Required: * Approximately 2 years' machine operating experience preferred * Experience within roofing, cladding, extrusion, or similar manufacturing environments is advantageous * Forklift license or willingness to obtain one * Overhead crane (gantry) ticket preferred, or willingness to gain * Confidence operating cranes in a safety-focused manner * Full NZ Driver's License * Strong attention to detail and ability to complete quality documentation accurately What We Offer: * Consistent Monday to Friday work schedule * 8-10 hour shifts * Opportunities to gain additional licenses and develop skills * A supportive team environment within a stable and growing operation About Remarkable People: Established in 2016, we are a vibrant, award-winning, national team of REMARKABLE individuals who don't just work hard but also play hard while enriching our communities.
