Supportive team environment We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Polyurethane Plastics Moulding Operator to join a top manufacturing team based in Onehunga. This hands-on role involves working with polyurethane materials to produce high-quality moulded products, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities • Prepare moulds and materials for polyurethane casting and moulding • Measure, mix, and pour polyurethane compounds according to specifications • Operate moulding equipment and monitor production processes • Demould finished products and carry out trimming, finishing, and quality checks • Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet required standards • Maintain clean and organised work areas • Follow all health and safety procedures, including correct handling of chemicals • Record production data and report any issues or inconsistencies • Assist with general factory duties as required Requirements • Previous experience in plastics manufacturing, polyurethane moulding, or similar (preferred but not essential) • Ability to follow instructions and work from production specifications • Good attention to detail and quality control awareness • Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and handle materials • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety What We Offer • Competitive hourly rate • Full training provided for the right candidate • Supportive team environment • Opportunity for growth within the company • Stable, long-term employment Desirable • Experience with casting, resin systems, or industrial coatings • Knowledge of polyurethane chemistry or production processes To apply, please submit your CV and I will be in touch straight away.
